How to save recipes on your computer

Add Superwise to Chrome from the Chrome Web Store and connect it to your account. Then, on any recipe page, click Superwise in your toolbar, check the ingredients, method and servings, and click Save recipe.

How to do it

    Add Superwise to Chrome

    Open Superwise on the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome.

    Pin it to your toolbar

    Click the jigsaw-piece Extensions button at the top of Chrome, then the pin beside Superwise.

    Connect your account

    Click Superwise, then Sign in to Superwise. On superwise.recipes, sign in if you need to and click Connect Chrome.

    Save a recipe

    On a recipe page, click Superwise. Check the ingredients, method and servings, then click Save recipe.

What it saves from

  • Recipe websites, food blogs and newspaper food sections
  • TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and Facebook posts, the same as the apps

You see the ingredients, method and servings before you save. If the recipe gives no amount for an ingredient, you get just the ingredient, never a guessed quantity.

New to Superwise?

The extension saves to your Superwise account, and accounts are made in the app. Download it free, then connect Chrome with the same email.

Do I need a Superwise account?

Yes. The extension saves to your Superwise recipes, so you connect it once to the account you use in the app. New to Superwise? Accounts are made in the app for iPhone or Android.

Where do the recipes go?

Straight into your Superwise recipes: in the apps on your phone and on the web at superwise.recipes, ready to plan into your week and add to your shopping list.

Which browsers does it work in?

Google Chrome on your computer. On iPhone and Android, share the recipe to the Superwise app instead: the other guides here show how.

What can the extension see?

Only the tab you click it on, and only when you click it. It has no access to the other websites you visit.

Is it free to save recipes to Superwise?

Yes, to start. Everything is included for your first two months, which begin when you save your first recipe. After that the free plan keeps five recipes unlocked, your favourites first, and Superwise Plus keeps your whole library open and lets you keep saving.
